I have downloaded the printer cleanup utility R166225. "In the meantime I have to admit that I am somewhat disappointed about the DELL support structure"ġ. Hopefully, these details might give you an 'idea' for a working solution procedure.

Now all they have left to do is to convince me never to buy a Z line pro printer, and never to recommend their bread and butter office lasers again. Not that I was ever going to buy an hp consumer inkjet myself, but I think they've definitively convinced me never to get one now. To add insult to injury that page is currently entirely down even though its still linked to from the main hp site: Pretty bad of HP to label both premium and premium plus papers as : 'suitable for all inkjets' on the main photo paper page.

This means that NONE of the photo paper that I have is any good for this printer. I bought an HP printer because usually they are not real picky about what sort of paper you use. I mean I was not expecting ink that was waterproof but not even being able to touch the print is ridiculous and this is even with HP premium photo paper although it is not their new colorlok stuff. My old HP printer ink at least did not come off just from touching the print. I just bought an HP6000 printer and am really upset that the ink quality in the last 10 years has gone backwards. (I see them online for as little as $50) It's targetted at offices that for some strange reason haven't realized they should really get a small color laser. You don't get much when you buy a printer at this price range. It's probably better than the hp paper anyway. Try the costco glossy paper if you have access to a costco. So you'll need paper that works for both dye and pigment. Your hp 6000 for some reason uses both dye and pigment ink at the same time. You might just want to go with other brands of paper that actually note what types of printers they work with. Although if I had to guess I would imagine that their 'premium plus photo paper' is probably instant dry too. Only their 'advanced photo paper' is actually noted to be instant dry.

Maybe HP isn't very good at labelling their printer papers.
